PAF: vermont bridge redux

On Tuesday I shared one version of the Vermont covered bridge photo I took and how Kim's textures were used to adjust it.  Today I used a couple of Bonnie's for a totally different result.

Original photo:

After textures:

I started by using some PSE filters:  paint daubs and cutout to simplify the shapes and make it feel a little painterly.  Then I added Old Linen Shirt at linear dodge 25% for the canvas like texture.  Medieval Magic at 65% soft light then duplicated and at saturation 75%.  I haven't used the saturation feature before and it actually reduces the saturation, not increases it which seems counter intuitive.  But, I like the softer, older coloration in this version.

TextureTuesday version:

The texture layers I used from Kim heightened the colors and warmed the image overall.  SUCH different results.  And so much fun to just keep endlessly playing and learning.

Linking to Bonnie's Photo Art Friday so come on over.  Bet yet, join in.
