Cool Beans, Terrie!! thanks!! your posts lit me up after a rainy morning and trying to get kids from 5 to 12 writing limericks. I love to teach, and I loved today "enough" but most of all for what I learned about HOW NOT TO try teaching such a wide age-range!!! I was feeling a little like a "failure" and when I read this I got a whole 'nother perspective. Feel Better!!
I am sorry you have been sick. It sounds like it hasn't been fun, either. I hope you are now on the mend.
I have a musician friend who writes, arranges, publishes, and plays steel drums and refuses to get "a day job" because his music is his life. He also refuses to fit into the tradition steel drum genre, playing anything from 11th Century choral to Stairway to Heaven. This bit of wisdom fits him completely. Thanks for sharing.
