zentangle: diamonds #58
Challenge #58 is to use the diamond logo created by the Millard's to represent the fight against pediatric cancer. We were also encouraged to use diamond-ish tangles in the work. You can read more about the organization and their goals to fight cancer here.

I tried several versions, getting progressively looser & more interpretive rather than literal. I love how Laura finds and creates awareness for various causes by encouraging the zentangle community to draw, draw, draw.

I love your progressive study in diamonds!
ReplyDeleteSuch different looks, and all great. I enjoyed seeing the progression.
ReplyDeleteA terrific cause and love your creations, x
ReplyDeleteThere is a lovely feel of freedom in your last tile Terrie like kites in flight.
ReplyDeleteThese are really great, Terrie. And I appreciate the cause your doing this for. My father died 4 months ago to cancer, so it's pretty heavy on my heart. Headed over to check out your links.
ReplyDeleteVery, very impressive use of that design in your Zentangles. Of course, I'm super impressed with every one you make.
ReplyDeleteWanted to let you know, per your AB concern, as long as the book you choose is SEWN, it will eventually loosen up. And any sewn hardback school book is worth it's weight in gold when it comes to altering. They are THE BEST, because they must stand up to abuse. So, I'm sure this book will be perfect for your project.
wow..! nice one:) i liked it very much!
