AEDM -day 7

Top Tangles:  coil, paradox, tipple, don't know the name of the outer ring;  Bottom Tangles:  flux, aura

Today's art effort answers two challenges - my art/day as well as the Zentangle Diva challenge to illustrate "remember".  As I thought about it, remembering took me immediately to my family....my parents and kids.  The first circular design represents the circle of hugs that we share all the time - every hello and goodbye is accompanied by a big hug.  The second drawing kind of represents family (2 parents and a child) with the radiating waves of influence that each has in the greater world.  I like to remember connections we've had with friends, neighbors and co-workers.

Visit AEDM for more artistic endeavors and Laura at I am the Diva for delightful Zentangles.

  2. Terrie, the tangles are lovely, but the meanings behind them are really special... actually sat and did a bit of a play today... not quite done with it yet, but it was very calming after a busy few days xx

  3. I like the circle of hugs and the family tangles both. Putting the meaning to the meditation of tangling makes them really special.

  5. You know what that bottom tangle reminds me of?????? At Christmas, when I was growing up, my grandma had this candy dish with the most wonderful candies in it. There was this one candy that was wrapped back and forth onto itself. It had beautiful stripes of color on it, and it was delicious! It was so pretty, it was hard to eat. That's what your tangle looks like to me! I'm having so much fun with AEDM. HuGGs!
