week 14 for 365-2 (part 2)

Mar 31 - Apr 6 - the wrap up for another week..................

#93 - For weeks and months I've been wanting to make some more stamps.  Today I finally made the time to do it.....the base is just some sturdy cardboard and the design is cut from thin craft foam and glued on with a glue stick.  Easy and rewarding.

black gesso background, stamped in white......

#94 - starting to build a couple of journal pages....on the right is my results from using a newly made glue stencil.....you know "scribbling" with hot glue on wax paper and using it as a stencil.

#95 - Earlier I mentioned getting a set of Liquitex paints so I made a color chart......the color on paper is SO different than the tube color.

#96 a little work in my art journal - a list of things I'm thankful for today......

Have a fabulous, creative, inspirational week!

  5. Love these foam stamps. I need to have another try at them, and am still working up my courage to try the glue gun...I always end up burning myself!

  6. Foam stamps... so much easier than carving the damn things. And cheaper. And I have at least two packs of that foam up on a shelf. Think I'll be making stamps this weekend. Yours are great, except the bird with no feet bugs me a bit lol. The color chart is fun too. There's something so appealing about a color chart.
