365 collages #11-15

Keeping up with my "365 somethings" challenge.  Here's what I've put together the last few days.

super quick & easy, collage of washi tape :)  is that officially a collage?  well, it works for me!

repetition of shape cut from my zillion color filed magazine pages

background is one of my clean up paper towels, the snapdragon is on vellum over the price list strip

working monochromatically - I find this really challenging to make it interesting and not just a jumble

another one - oooo, too busy for me - used my punches to cut circles and squares - this one's my least fave

What have you been working on?

  1. hee hee! I rather like your busy one! But the one with your paper towel and the vellum flower is my favorite.

I quite like magazine shapes, the imagery that is mysterious is often most intriguing. I do love #3 for it's softness but the monochromatic one works great as well. Keep it up.....good stuff. xox

  5. Terrie, I love these. You are really going with gusto! The oranges are great. This is inspiration for me, because I"m working on the same project bit by bit and really loving the new art muscles I'm working on!

  7. These are all fantastic Terrie! I love how you tried such different techniques on all of them: the repetition of shape...monochromatic...all washi tape. Despite my 'thing' about orange, my favourite one is actually the last one. Ya know, the one you liked the least. I like the gradation of colours. xx
