ICAD 9-12

Continuing my ICAD playing....be sure to visit Tammy at Daisy Yellow for lots more index card creativity - you'll be amazed what can be created with a few minutes on such a little format!

#9 - tried something different here - think you can see the raised edges....that's my gesso spread on thick and swirly and then dried up close and personal with a heat gun making it raise and bubble - a very cool effect. You can't see the little bubbles all that well, but they create great little moonscape effects on the paper.

#10 - busy day today so this was was super simple, just some paint.

#11 - using up scraps, a stamp I made, lids for circles, a bit of dotted wood veneer...  (oops I just noticed my dates and realized I switched these two....oh well)

#12 - simple again - a map scrap and circles made with a wine cork.
Join in, won't you?

  4. Really lovely way you took a few scraps and played and played. Gesso is SO much fun, especially when it's all bubbly.

What fun. Really like seeing a mix of ICAD.
Playing and exploring with different mediums leads to new discoveries and self expression.
I really like the first one, a abstract moment... I love it!! :]

  12. These are so great Terrie! So many different techniques and materials. This is what I love most about this challenge, it's really allowing us all to play and spread our wings a bit. And look at all the gorgeousness that comes out of that!
