#5 - doodling my name
#6 - more of that cool combo of purple, teal & lime with one of my fave quotes.
#7 - using the grid prompt, I pulled out my collection of little bird/butterfly stamps
#8 - I picked up a little brayer on sale and wrapped it in rubber bands and starting playing with the patterns I could create. Then, I realized the APR theme (artist play room) is zentangle this week, so it seemed logical to fill in my little spaces with tangles....
If you haven't joined the ICAD group yet, it's not too late.....you don't even have to play catch up, just start from where you are.
love the rubber band/brayer trick. what a cool way to tangle!
ReplyDeleteDoodle goodness and the brayer trick is great. Have you seen Traci Bunkers book on stamp making with all kinds of stuff including rubber bands and other things wrapped around brayers. Neat DIY tool you made. xox
ReplyDeleteLovely cards, I'm digging the blues and greens.
ReplyDeletedoodle fun, grid fun (my favorite colors), and love the idea with the brayer. fun, fun, fun! Party On! :D :D
ReplyDeleteGreat colors, and I love your grid card especially...so pretty!
ReplyDeleteAren't you the clever one, wrapping rubber bands around your brayer, will have to give that a go! And then filling in the little spaces with tangles, is an awesome idea!! waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)
ReplyDeleteGreat tangles...
ReplyDeleteblessings,

Great cards! I especially love the one with the bird and butterfly stamps. I always have a fondness for grids, and that's a great selection of stamps. And the blue/green colour scheme keeps it from looking too busy.
ReplyDeleteThis is my first year doing this challenge and I LOVE it!! So far I haven't gone too crazy and tried new things...but lots of doodling and collage:) Your blues are beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteOooh, love them all! the bird and butterfly ones is very pretty!
ReplyDeleteBrayer + rubber bands? You are giving me ideas. Really like your tangle page.

ReplyDeleteYou are so good at just DOING Terrie. Creative play is what it's all about.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of that rubber band thing on the brayer before but I really like how it turned out so I think I need to give that a shot myself. Way to get two challenges in one with that last one.

That tangle is really clever, I found your name in there too. Love all the colours you used. That saying suits me to a tee. I always say my age as ten years less :)
