No, it's not my 148th participation on WOYWW (what's on your worktable Wednesday), but it's the 148th Wednesday that you've been able to browse around the web and check out other crafter & artist work spaces - legally. It satisfies the bit of voyeur in all of us, very harmlessly. I think this is my 10th or so time of sharing my work table.
In all it's glory:
Showing off my AB in progress (upper right) and my new Letraset Aqua markers that I won - still experimenting, but they seem to have lots of applications....a canvas project and collage papers.
The wide view shows a mess and a canvas that I'm still trying to figure out. It's 12x12 and has gone through many styles and colors.....this is it so far this week. I tried Jane Davies' ink & straw & blow method. I like the randomness of it - I'm kinda seeing a tree. Maybe I can build on that since my other ideas haven't panned out.
There are LOTS of WOYWW players and you're always welcome to join. Visit Julie over at Stamping Ground to have your chance to be a voyeur. Legally.
I actually see an eyeball with the blood vessels in black :).
ReplyDeleteStay inspired!
Looks busy, love that red piece you are working on! Valerie
ReplyDeleteOh I'm impressed that you can just let it take you somewhere...I'd be in the 'set it aside' frame of mind by now! I don't see what Michelle sees (well I do, now she's said it..but it wasn't my first thought!), I saw a claw. Sinister stuff huh - I wonder if it had been a green background if I'd have first seen a tree?! Conditioning!
ReplyDeleteOh it is such a wonderful thing when the images create themselves and all we do is play, sheer joy ...

Ooooh! Loving that canvas! I see and old tree... looks like it's been hit by lightning or something...has a ver 'apocalyptic' feel to it which I just love!! don't know why really...
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing,

ReplyDeleteYou are a busy lady, there are always many projects happening on your desk and with fab results. Time for me to fill mine up again. Thanks for the inspiration. xox
ReplyDeleteI'm CRAZY about that canvas and the wonderfully easy way you are able to work. It is early here, but I'm out the door soon, so I'll just admire those wonderful markers and hope to see them used in that delightful book you have on your desk this week, too. Have a beautiful Easter and happy WOYWW from #6.
ReplyDeleteSo much fun stuff going on! As much as I love my little desk I do envy your room to spread out. At first I totally saw an eyeball as well but then kinda saw coral instead. Glad to see you trying out Jane's technique. xx
ReplyDeleteOo I just love taking a peek at everyone's art spaces! So much energy and art going on with yours! Love the canvas.
ReplyDeleteThat canvas is striking, I can see so many things even a strawberry! Take care, & enjoy peeking at the WOYWW desks this week. Zo xx 78
ReplyDeleteOK, I want to reach in there and open up your AB book and see what you've done with it! lol The canvas piece is intriguing, I too see a tree, or a hand reaching out of the depths to grab the big red ball...leaves a lot to the imagination! #44 and waving hi from the spring laden hills of North Carolina :)
ReplyDeleteI love seeing what you are up to! I too think I see a tree in that canvas!
