Briefly sharing my happy moments this week:
Took on some new tasks at work - always love to learn something new. Challenging.
Rearranged and cleaned out my art room. It SO needed it and now my work desk takes advantage of the natural light and I added more storage and countertop space. I got lots of time to work in my journal this week. Happy. (see upcoming before/after shots)
Sent out my postcards for the IA swap and can't wait to start getting mine in return. Creative.
Seeing plants I planted for summer flowers start to bud. Anticipation.
(these aren't in my yard)

Glad you had such a lovely day! Love the sunny, yellow flowers, too! Valerie
ReplyDeleteYou had a wonderful week. I love learning new things -- keep those little gray cells working! Your journal page is wonderful ... love the color. And blooms -- bloom where they/we are planted! Wishing you a week filled with bliss!
ReplyDeletePleased you have had such a great day Terrie. Beautiful journal page. Annette x
ReplyDeleteGetting your swaps out promptly, good you. Love that bench with the log bases.....solitude in the forest what could be better. YOu could paint on the floor BIG!!!!! I am lucky to have homasote mounted to the walls in the studio for students to paint on and of course me too. A sheet of homasote and some strapping to go around the outsides edges could lean against something and give you a big, big easel....$40 from home depot for it all and some left over paint for a first coat.
ReplyDeleteI use paper and pushpins.....xox
Hi Terrie! I received my beautiful postcard today--thanks so much! I'm sure you didn't know this, but I used to collect stamps so it is extra special to me!
ReplyDeleteMy work space needs a reorganizing, too, but since I share it with the washer & dryer, I don't have too much room to rearrange. One of these days...
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
They yellow bloomers may not be in your yard but they are very pretty. Postcard exchanges - I haven't heard of that. I am still fairly new to blogging.
ReplyDeleteLove those flowers even though they aren't in your yard - so glad you captured their beauty. Also, I love to learn knew things even when they are challenging. xoxo I hope your bliss continues.
ReplyDeleteHello! BEAUTIFUL photo of the bloomers - true bliss right there. Hope you are having a great weekend so far :)
ReplyDeleteI would love some peace and quiet and it would be lovely to stop and have a bit of time chatting with you on that bench... maybe looking at the flowers and catching up on things... then it wouldn't be quiet I suppose , but it would be fun i am sure...xx
ReplyDeleteLove how you wrote your list Terrie. Sounds like a lovely, and beautiful, week. Hope this week is just as blissful. xx
