zentangle practice

I haven't worked on a zentangle in quite a while and since this month's Sketchbook Challenge encompasses doodling (all month so you have time to join in), what other motivation do I need?

Tangles used from top left:  ticking, phuds, organza (border), zuan shi, random striping, featherfall, more random striping and flowery things, crescent moons.

I'll link this to Creative Every Day as well.

  1. I love all of the texture! Strange, but some of the elements are similar to a sketch I did today. Really nice work.

  2. I am in total awe of your zentangles. Needless to say, I will love them from afar. Just the thought of these and a gripped ink pen make my fingers and hand cramp. Tried it once. Gave up because it's just not for me. However, I am utterly impressed with yours. The zen-doodles look so hard and intricate.

Thanks for stopping by and being so supportive when I was offline. It meant a lot to me, even though I couldn't reciprocate. And I want to wish you a happy belated New Year, too!
